Abandoned greyhound in a hopeless condition, Miracles Happened & God Helps This Dog Can Walk Again!

This is Astrid she was found on street in very bad situation, abandoned maybe few days ago, she is in a lot of pain and is very down. Her bone marrow is damaged and quite inflamed, it looks like she may have neuronal damage. Her neck and abdomen are swollen and sore to the touch.

She barely has an appetite, she has reached the brink of hypothermia and even in the heat she would not stop shaking.

Further check shows that she has a multiple hip fracture and several injuries all over her body including a huge injury to the groin.

we cannot lose her, we cannot afford to lose another life, we would not forgive ourselves come on sweetie fight. Please don’t give up!

Our little girl is still hospitalized with 24-hour surveillance. The doctor tell us that astrid continues with a reserved prognosis.

Astrid had surgery for the multiple hip fracture and is doing very well. The vet said she’s more and more animated and she loves the pate cans that they give her to eat, but unluckily her hip did not recover and the little girl still had pain and that pain made it impossible for her to advance in her recovery.

‘we have tried all possible physiotherapy techniques we have given her therapeutic massages and have pampered her as much as we can’ the vet in centre said.

Astrid’s paw is not doing well as well she is still in a lot of pain, vets are evaluating whether Astrid should undergo surgery again, they believe in miracles.

On week five it happens, Astrid started showing her rehabilitation even she still has discomfort in her hips, after several weeks of rehabilitation Astrid begins to take her first steps, she still can’t do it without help but it’s a breakthrough.

Little by little the physiotherapist moves her legs so she can exercise them since astrid has lost a lot of muscle mass, our little girl keeps moving forward. She continues to walk with help, but each time she manages to take more and better steps.

Astrid also makes friend with laura another dog in the center.
