Loving Owner Makes The Coziest Wagon For His Paralyzed Dog So They Can Still Take Walks Together

Love. It is truly the most powerful force in this universe. This is something that transcends race, religion and gender. It can even transcend species. Love is something that touches us all, and when it happens, our efforts for our loved ones are limitless, as one dog owner has proven.
Brian Thompson was out for a walk in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, when he noticed something else. There was a man pulling a carriage with a dog curled up in the carriage.
Out of curiosity, Thompson took a few pictures before approaching the man, curious about the story behind the car. The story he was told turned out to be driven by pure love.
The dog’s owner told Thompson that his dog had canine ALS, a degenerative myelopathy. This means his dog suffers from progressive spinal cord disease, which over time can cause paralysis of the affected dog’s hind legs.
The owner’s dog was paralyzed and unable to walk, so her owner took responsibility herself to ensure she could continue to enjoy the great outdoors. That’s why he now takes his dog for daily walks in the trolley so she can still enjoy the fresh air in the park.
Of course, Thompson was moved by the owner’s love for his dog, so he posted about it on his Facebook.
When Thompson praised the man’s actions, he didn’t believe him, only saying that his dog would do the same for him.
It’s an expression of pure love between friends, and I think it’s safe to say we’re all reaching for the tissues right about now.
