Dog Unable to Accept the Death of his Owner, Looks out to Sea Day by Day to Wait for His Owner Returns

Jolie Meja and her family went to Punta Negra, a small seaside village near their Peruvian home, recently.
They came to learn a story about love in its purest form along a rocky beach with a view of the sea.
A lone dog approached Meja and her family as they were relaxing by the sea.
“He didn’t seem to have been abandoned.” “He wore a ribbon around his neck and his fur was clean,” Meja told The Dodo. “I pet him while waiting for his owner, but after a few minutes, no one showed up.”
Meja’s pets amused the dog, but his gaze was always drawn to the sea.
And Meja was quick to look into the heartfelt reason.
Meja and her family were considering adopting the dog if he had been abandoned. As a result, Meja inquired of a passer-by if he was aware of the dog’s status.
“Nearly everyone in the area knows the dog and is quite fond of him,” Meja continued. “He told us that the dog’s owner was a long-dead fisherman, and that the dog goes to the beach every day and stares out at the sea.”
The dog appeared to be keeping a watchful eye out for his friend, who would never return.
Meja remarked, “We were deeply moved.”
Meja believes the dog’s owner died at sea around a year ago and that the dog has been looking for him every day since then.
Despite the possibility that the dog’s owner will never return, the dog is cared for by friends.
The residents of the town are clearly aware of the dog’s tragic story, as they feed him, shelter him, and provide him with medical care when he needs it.
According to a local veterinarian in Punta Negra, the dog’s name is Vaguito, and he’s currently being treated by a lady who lives nearby.
Vaguito’s eyes were still set out to sea as Meja and her family parted ways with him before the end of the day. His tragic story of loyalty to a love he never had and the loyalty and affection he found in the community, on the other hand, is one she will never forget.
Meja claimed, “I have a dog at home.” “In general, I adore dogs. His story had a profound effect on me.”
