The parents of a woman named Nastya Tikhaya run an animal shelter. She makes every effort to assist them. The animal shelter is near Kiev in Irpin.
She is a true hero for assisting disabled and abandoned animals in need. She assists them in fleeing the war-torn country. Her husband, Arthur Lee, also assists the abandoned animals in crossing the Polish border.
Her picture went viral on social media. She is in charge of the dogs. Some of the dogs are elderly or disabled and are in wheelchairs.
Many of the dogs appear to be scared and tired. The photograph depicts the animals' unconditional love and care. Even though some of the dogs were unhealthy, the woman did not give up.
The animals are safe and sound thanks to this couple and others who volunteered to help with the rescue of senior and disabled dogs. Some dogs were even reunited with their owners who were unable to flee with their pets.
