He was abused by his owner, crawling on the ground to get every bit of leftover food

A nice woman called Local shelter in germany for help, her neighbor had a German Shepherd dog.  He was not cared for or fed at all.  She fed him some times to keep him alive.

His hind legs did not walk and fester, he could only crawl on the dirty ground. He had no childhood, care or a real home.

“I couldn’t even imagine how he could survive in such dire conditions. I named him Lucky, I hope he would have a happy life as his name” Mosina Ekaterina his rescuer said.

Lucky had a hollow kneecap, he won’t be able to walk fully. In addition to having Parvo virus, he needed treatment. He transfered to the rehabilitation center.

During his treatment in the centre they also actively helped him exercise. He was very cooperative and exercised very hard. Perhaps the desire to walk normally gave him the motivation

There was another dog in the centre,He also had a sad story and was rescued and  they were very attached to each other at the time.

“I decided to take this man to the rehabilitation center with Lucky. I hope they both have a bright new future” Ekaterina said.

Rehabilitation was always long and expensive but it is a  chance for him. Lucky made great progress, he could walk very well at times and this was the result of perseverance.

Lucky finished his training and he cheered for his friend. Mike was also practicing very hard he also did very well

Lucky was so  busy playing a towel he forgot to cheer for his friend

After two months he could trust walk slowly and stand while eating.

“Success is not random, it is a process of hard work and constant striving. We worked hard and it paid off, I was so happy about that”

“After a while we were able to go home again, Mike joined Lucky. Mike  living wasn’t as lucky as.  Lucky he couldn’t recover. I bought Mike a wheelchair and he loves it. He got used to it quickly and walked around amused” Ekaterina said.

As for Lucky he is healthier and happier every day. Soon he will make a full recovery  and can run faster.

“I’m so glad I can help change the fate of these two boys. I promise myself I’ll take care of them and love them to the end. After what they’ve been through they all deserve it”
