Feral Puppy Leads Rescuer Straight To Her Hiding Siblings
March 25, 2022
A feral puppy assisted rescuers in saving her family when she lead them right to a den. It all started when a man in northern Manitoba, Canada, contacted K9 Advocates Manitoba to say he thought there might be puppies on his rural property.
The dogs were immediately rescued by volunteers. Brady Oliveira, a running back for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League, was one of the volunteers.
He stated that he noticed the mother with one puppy right away. There were no other puppies that they could see or hear. But, all of a sudden, one puppy bolted. Brady was perplexed and began following the puppy. She led him to a shed, where he discovered the pup’s siblings hiding beneath a small hole.
The pups, according to Brady, were feral and refused to come out. Because the pups' heads were too small, the catch pole didn’t work either. As a result, Brady placed kibble in front of the hole and waited for the pups to poke their heads out. Brady’s football skills came in handy in this situation.
One, two, three, and four are the numbers one, two, three, and four. Brady rescued each puppy from beneath the shed, and soon after, he was driving the dog family to Winnipeg to meet the fosters! The dogs were all adopted not long after that!
