They wanted to give the pregnant dog a “last injection”, but the girl was already on her way to the shelter for the dog

 Rebecca Lynch and her husband were on vacation in Savannah. The couple pulled over to the side of the road on their way back from Georgia. Despite the fact that everyone on vacation brings souvenirs, Rebecca knew she wanted something more meaningful to remember her trip.

There are numerous animal shelters in the state where they stayed, which is why the girl decided to adopt one of the local pets. The car had enough room to accommodate a four-legged passenger.

Rebecca read about a terrier named Lizzie who miraculously avoided euthanasia while preparing for such a step. The previous owners gave Lizzie, who was also pregnant, to the shelter knowing that the animal would be euthanized there. In addition to all the misfortunes, the animal broke its leg.

Rebecca realized that such a small animal had suffered far too much and decided that it, more than others, required a home and loving owners. Lizzie sat comfortably on a blanket saved for her in the backseat of the Lynch family’s car as she drove away from the Georgia shelter.

The dog was nervous for the first few hours in the car, but it soon realized that no one would harm it. On the road, the unexpected happened: Lizzie went into labor. Perhaps the time has come for her to become a mother, or perhaps she has finally realized that these people will look after her as well as the children.

Rebecca, who had only recently become the dog’s owner, also tried her hand at being a midwife, assisting the dog and caring for its puppies.

Lizzie gave birth to three puppies on the way to the Vet Clinic, and another was born during the reception and under the care of the doctors. The last two children were born while on the move.

Lizzie and her babies are fine, but they had to stay at the vet for a few days so the doctors could examine them thoroughly. Following the clinic, the family travels to their new home, where the Lynches have already begun to prepare everything for mom and her children’s comfort. When the puppies grow up and get stronger, the girl will find good owners for each of them.
