In Ukraine, a small miracle happens: a puppy survives shelling on a roadblock

When a terrible disaster strikes, it’s important to look for a silver lining. These Ukrainian police must have found theirs.

About a week ago, Ukrainian police discovered a miracle on a dismantled barricade.

When they first looked around the heavily shelled area, they thought no one had survived. There was no sign of life, everything was unbelievably still.

They came to a car that had apparently been shot, with bullet holes in the glass and flat tires. They decided to look for victims inside. But what they found was far from what they expected!

A puppy huddled in fright, shivering with cold, lay on the front seat. Officials don’t know if the dog was a stray before the incident, or if it lost its owner in the chaos. They just knew he needed love and attention. As a result, they decided to deliver for him.

It was discovered that his team had adopted the puppy. They wrote on their Facebook page:

“He’s going to protect this area with us, and we’re with him.”

This puppy is currently safe and warm at the police station and is being fed and cuddled daily!

It provides a pleasant change of pace for currently busy officials. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
