Dog With Huge Tumor Begs For Help, But They Chase Her Away With Sticks & Guns

Ermioni Giannakou, a Greek rescuer, came across a homeless dog suffering from severe trauma on the streets of Karditsa. She set out to save the dog, but she was unprepared for the shocking sight that awaited her.

Agnes, the dog, had a large tumor on her neck that was weighing her down to the point where she could barely lift her head.

Ermioni’s heart was broken even more when she learned that the locals had been abusing Agnes for the past six months. To get rid of Agnes, the locals began throwing sticks and firing shots at her since they noticed the tumor growing. The dog repeatedly begged them to help her, only to be violently shooed away.

At first, Agnes was wary of Ermioni and the rescue team, but she warmed up to them and allowed them to take her to the hospital. Agnes had tumors on both breasts and a 4-pound mass on her neck, according to the vets. Agnes underwent several painful surgeries over the next three months until all of her tumors were completely removed!

The coordinators at “Greek Animal Rescue” found Agnes the perfect home in England once she was fully recovered.
