Blinded Dog Laid Down & Waited For Heaven, Strained To Get Up As Woman Hollered

 When we adopt a pet, we are making a lifelong commitment. This rule does not have any exceptions. However, it appears that not all dog owners are aware of this. One dog’s owner felt he was no longer worthy of his home after he was badly injured and went blind. The dog had become extremely weak as a result of starvation and dehydration by the time he was found.

The poor pup was found lying in the mud, no longer “worthy” of a roof over his head. He was dehydrated and hungry, and he was weak. This is where the dog decided to lay until he died. Since the one person he truly loved had abandoned him, he had accepted that his life was over.

Rescuers found just in time to save him! They lifted him into their vehicle because he was too weak to stand. It was time to take this dog to the vet and have him treated! On his way over, the sweet boy was so patient. Sure, he was terrified, but he also knew that these good people would come to his aid. He finally realized that his death didn’t have to come so soon.

The dog’s condition had progressed to the point of starvation, according to the vet. He was anemic to the point of needing multiple blood transfusions. The rescuers made as many phone calls as they could while the doggy warrior was being treated. They also put a request on Facebook for a foster home. This poor boy shouldn’t have to stay at the vet’s office any longer than necessary. He needed to know what it was like to be loved in a home!

The rescuers received a call from a nice woman the next afternoon. She had worked with blind animals before and wanted to offer her home to the dog as a safe haven for him to recover. It was a match made in heaven. The pup met his new foster mom after the vet cleared him medically, and it was love at first sniff!

The dog who accepted the fact that he would die is now thriving. He’s also rumored to be a foster failure! His foster mom can’t think of a better place for him to be. Everyone who meets him is smitten by the charming young love. It makes no difference that he is blind; he is incredible! Despite everything he’d been through, we’re overjoyed that this pup found his happily ever after.
