“The shelter is not a safe place for a deaf cat. Other cats in the shelter could easily take advantage of his handicap and hurt him.” a member of the shelter staff explained.

Snowflake’s sad story caught the attention of a Boston-based charity that provides funding for emergency cat rescue activities around the world, and they donated the funds needed to board Snowflake until he could find a forever home.

Snowflake was then placed in a foster home with a woman who ended up adopting him to ensure the rest of his life will be filled with love.

UPDATE: Whatever happened to Snowflake and his family during the ongoing war in Ukraine It is unknown.
